Forget a Knife and Cutting Board Try a Clever Cutter

Do you hate making soup or stews due the fact that you have to individually cut each vegetable one by one into bite size pieces? It’s time consuming right? Unless you are one of those people who meal preps ahead of time. Maybe you don’t like the fact you have so many dishes to wash when making soup. Let’s see there’s the Crockpot or stock pot you are making the soup or stew in, the cutting board, the knife, the pan for sautéing (possibility), the ladle, perhaps a wooden spoon or spatula for stirring, and the bowels and spoons needed to feed the family. It all adds up pretty quickly. It also can be difficult cutting blocks of cheese with a regular kitchen knife.

I know of a handy kitchen gadget that will allow you to cut down your prep time and most of the hassle. Pun intended, it was unavoidable! This gadget also makes cutting cheese easy and I don’t mean passing flatulence either! It is called a Clever Cutter. It is a 2 in 1 food chopper that will allow you to replace your kitchen knives and cutting boards. The gadget looks and is used like a pair of scissors.  You place your vegetables on the cutting board part, and squeeze the handles together! It’s really simple. Below you will find the promotional video:

My Personal Review

I have one of these and I LOVE it so far. Daniel and I have races to see who can chop faster. Me and the Clever Cutter vs him and his knife. By the way, Daniel is pretty fast at chopping. The results are usually too close to tell who won. My only concern I have is what happens when the knife part gets dull? Will have to buy a new Clever Cutter or can I sharpen the blade myself? Other than that, I think it is a great tool. I use mine all the time. In fact, I use it so much that the “Clever Cutter” branding on the handle of the scissors is wearing off. I would recommend this product to anyone who spends a lot of time in the kitchen. It makes a great gift.
